MOLLY LEFANOWICZ
Ecological Landscape Design
Molly’s work is grounded in resilient, ecologically informed programming that responds carefully to site and context. She prioritizes planetary health and community well-being as integral design objectives. She holds an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Michigan, where she focused on urban greenspace development across scales and contexts—from residential rain gardens in Ann Arbor, MI to post-industrial waterfronts in Auckland, NZ.
Molly is currently pursuing a Master of Landscape Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design. Her graduate thesis considers ways for pollinator habitats to be installed adjacent to community gardens to strengthen urban food production in Providence, RI. Beyond ecological performance and crop productivity, the proposal provides opportunities for learning about beneficial ecosystem services, local biodiversity, and regional food networks.
